Highway 31 drive

Highway 31 beyond Duncan Lake on the way to Trout Lake
The following video was taken along highway 31 past Grant's Cabin along the river that flows down from Trout Lake to Kootenay Lake (name to be determined). The area is in a valley surrounded by mountains. I later found out that there are a lot of Grizzly bears in this area. Shortly after this video where I was watching bald eagles, I got into my truck and started driving. Less than a minute later a large Grizzly runs over the bank (from the river on my left - passenger side of the truck) and starts running along side of the truck for about 10 seconds.
I quickly surpassed the bear by speeding up and got ahead of it. I could now see the bear in my rear view mirror standing in the middle of the road looking towards me. So, I stopped the truck, grabbed my camera, stepped out of the truck, and tried to get a shot of it. But then I realized that my camera's battery had just died.
Before I could grab my spare battery the bear then ran up the mountain into the forest. Missed it. It was a huge full grown bear.
The Highest point of Highway 31 on the Way to Trout Lake
(Video above) Technically a provincial highway here but more like a logging service road. First time up here and I did not expect this.
